Effion grew the wool for this yarn. She’s an older registered Icelandic ewe born in 2017, grandmother of Laufa and great-grandmother of Aelfa. She’s solid moorit, and since she’s a bit older, she’s growing more thel than tog these days (which is part of what makes her yarn so soft).
This yarn is grown by our flock, shorn by Pony Jacobson, and spun within 50 miles by a local wool mill, Skagit Woolen Works.
