Herriot and Gavra grew the wool for this yarn. Herriot’s a registered Shetland ewe born in 2020 who came to us from Sue Smith at Blackberry Heritage Fibers. She’s a first time mom this year to Aethelflaed, and is a cautious girl until she decides you’re her new best friend. She’s one of our bigger shetlands and is covered in spots.
This yarn is grown by our flock, shorn by Pony Jacobson, and spun within 50 miles by a local wool mill, Skagit Woolen Works.
