Tauriel and Forrest grew the wool for this yarn. Tauriel’s a registered Shetland ewe born in 2018 who came to us from Sue Smith at Blackberry Heritage Fibers. She’s a beautiful moorit color, getting lighter as she ages, but she’s our largest fleece producer even though she’s teenie-tiny dog-sized!
This yarn is grown by our flock, shorn by Pony Jacobson, and spun within 50 miles by a local wool mill, Skagit Woolen Works.
