This collar is knit by hand, using individually processed locks from our Icelandic ewe, Laufa. In addition to her stunning pearly white fleece, she also has some golden brown streaks around her neck and ankles. This collar has a few of those locks at the front of the neck to celebrate Laufa’s.
Unlike other traditional sheepskin collars, ours knit collars are made without requiring the butcher of our sheep, so we can continue to make them for you throughout the life of the animal!
Although we have no problem wearing our collars against bare skin, some people don’t like the feeling of Icelandic wool, so please keep this in mind as this item cannot be returned.
