Name a Lamb - 2025

All of our ewe lambs get named every year, and that’s the name they’re officially registered with! We’d like to offer that opportunity to you.

The naming rights include the name of your choice (within some parameters) to one of our ewe lambs, along with a private tour to meet the lamb, a write-up of the lamb and everything about them, their portrait, and a bit of raw wool from their first shearing.

If you’ve been looking for a way to support the farm while making a lasting impact, this might be for you. We have a number of lambs every year that need names, and we love doing it ourselves, but realized it could be a fun way for our community to get involved.

Your purchase includes a private farm tour to visit the lamb you’ve named, a write up about them, and a bit of their first shearing lambswool.

There are (unfortunately) some rules to keep things simple on our management side:

  1. The name must start with the year letter. Each year, the lamb names start with the next letter of the alphabet so we can easily tell their age! This year’s lambs (2025) need a name that start with the letter “N”.

  2. The names must be Icelandic (for our Icelandic sheep)! We want to honor and support the culture around this ancient and nearly unchanged breed, and that includes recognizing where they come from. You can find Icelandic names here, on the Nordic Name registry.

We can’t wait to hear what you come up with, and give our little girls the gift of their names chosen by our wonderful community.
