Workshop Details:
Duration: 2.5 hours of instruction and hands-on practice at the farm
Format: Group learning, hands-on training guided by Jessica Schwab, the experienced mill owner from Skagit Woolen Works
Included: All materials will be provided as well as a Skirting Cheat Sheet for you to take home
Location: Fog & Fleece Sheepery, on farm at 4269 Y Road in Bellingham, WA 98226
Dates: Saturday, March 28th - 10am to 12:30pm
Cost: $25 per person, sliding scale. If cost is a prohibitor for you with this workshop, we will accommodate you as this is a community event.

This workshop is an accessible and hands-on learning opportunity for anyone who owns sheep or wants to learn how to skirt wool.
Additional things to do: Depending on the weather, you are welcome to hang out at the farm following the workshop and see the lambs! We have blankets for sitting in the grass and crafting if it isn’t too wet. We also will have some raw fleeces available for sale and the farm store will be open. We also recommend grabbing delicious pizza for lunch at the Historic Rome Grocery, just a few minutes away from the farm.
